I strive to create a classroom atmosphere where creativity thrives and students are excited about their educational journey. By designing visually appealing materials and dynamic lesson plans, I aim to capture students’ attention and make learning enjoyable. For example, I take pride in crafting unique booklet front pages and certificates among others that, not only attract students, but also instill a sense of pride in their work.

In our rapidly evolving digital world, integrating technology into education is not just beneficial but necessary. I have incorporated the use of tablets and our dedicated Prep 6 website to create an interactive and immersive learning experience. This approach not only enhances students’ technical skills but also makes learning more accessible and engaging.

I believe in addressing the diverse learning styles and needs of each student. By using digital tools and resources, I tailor my teaching methods to ensure that every child can learn in a way that suits them best. My aim is to develop not just academic proficiency but also critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

My commitment to education extends beyond the classroom. After taking a career break to focus on my family, I pursued personal interests in jewellery making and furniture upcycling, which further honed my creativity and design skills. Additionally, I achieved a professional diploma in digital marketing, broadening my expertise and enabling me to bring new perspectives and tools into my teaching practice.

I believe that a supportive and inclusive classroom environment is key to student success. I am dedicated to creating a space where every student feels valued, encouraged and confident to express themselves. By fostering a sense of community, I aim to build strong relationships with my students and colleagues to support each child’s educational journey.
